Each year members will receive…

  • The majority of live sessions feature guest speakers – all of whom are feminist leaders with wisdom, feminist tactics and inspiration to share. Other live sessions will be facilitated by the We Are Feminist Leaders team and offer you a chance to meet other members of the Collective, get peer support and continue to build your feminist leadership skills. All sessions will be participatory and allow space for questions and reflection. Sessions are recorded for members who can’t join us live and are available to all new members. In the coming months, speakers include Minna Salami, Alex Iantaffi, Meg-John Barker and Catalina Ruiz-Navarro. Previous speakers have included the authors Alison Phipps and Ruby Hamad. Our topics span everything from engaging men in feminist leadership to creating organisational change.

  • Created specifically to meet your needs, these resources will include reflective practice activities, group activities you can use with your teams and examples of feminist leadership in practice to inspire you. Themes covered in the resources include feminist leadership and managing risk, feminist approaches to managing people, organisational change and imagination as feminist practice. Members of the collective can suggest themes they would like to see covered in the future.

  • Four collective care practices that you can take away and use with your colleagues, peers, friends or fellow activists. Practices cover themes of resilience, rituals, power within, dealing with overwhelm and using freewriting - click here for an example of a tool you can use with your teams during a time of organisational change and uncertainty. Collective care practices support you to not only focus on team wellbeing, but also understand how care is a radical and political act that can strengthen our collective power.

  • Option to join a Signal group that will connect you with others in the Good Trouble Collective. We meet regularly for live text check-ins to discuss topics of interest to members and network with each other.

Being in community with like-minded people across different work contexts has also helped me broaden my perspective on feminist leadership.”

  • “Being part of the Good Trouble Collective has helped me stay connected with fellow feminists who are also doing systemic change work. I highly appreciate the topics, carefully curated resources and the speaker series that the team designs… the care and attention that they bring while developing these resources to make it easy to understand and apply is beautiful!”
